Today I merely walked around. I dotted through China Town, the Financial District, So Ho, and the Upper East Side. I also saw Statue of Liberty. Tourist stuff really. It also rained all day, which gave the streets and people a peculiarly scenic edge to an already atmospheric city scape.
Tomorrow I am going the Whitney to see the biennial. I may also go to some other art shows. Some of particular interest is a Tony Feher installation, a Gustav Klimt exhibit and a performance by Coco Fusco at the Armory.
I heard that there is a great taco stand called Endless Summer at the corner of Bedford and 7th. Maybe I will get a chance to try a fish baja style taco earlier than I thought.
