I have a new friend

His name is Scott Heim.

He came to KU last Wednesday to give a lecture about his new book, We Disappear. . The lecture went smooth and during the Q and A section we seemed to have built a great rapport with each other. Later on that night we sojourned at the tap room (randomly) for mild amounts of alcohol consumption, old wive tales and literary gossip.

Scott is most widely know for his first novel that was later adapted into a film, Mysterious Skin.
