as for day to day ramblings

I have been up to a few activities during our wonderful (indian) summer. For the last two month or so I worked with a small but persistent film crew in Noe Hoe, thereby providing myself with many short-term responsibility hats to enjoy. Not all of the hats flattered my figure but at least I found a positive setting to try out my communicative strengths and weaknesses. Working with a film crew is a bit of a strange experience because it morphs your mentality into more a pack oriented one rather then the usual personal endeavor route. I met a lot of people and saw so many places that I probably wouldn't have because of the project and I am extremely glad to have been part of it.

The theme of the film is relatively simple but has a nice twist, and by being true to the writer and director I won't give any details on this web tangled blog that you are reading.

Now that my time has been freed from the film entanglements I have been brain storming on new hobbies to occupy my day to day ramblings. I have been reading more. My eyes are devouring poetry, back issues of the New Yorker, music reviews, HTML and CSS, and plain old text.

My music activities were too prolific earlier this summer so I have come to somewhat of a stand still with creative production because I need to master all these damn four track tapes before I move on. I have calculated that I have made a total of 17 "tape" albums and it's about time I let them get some sun light.

I have been going to more shows. I saw Sebastien Tellier, Wanda Jackson, These New Puritans, Nite Jewel, Girls, 88 BoaDrums, Lavender Diamonds, Lemonade, YellowFever, Black Black, Glasser, Hecuba, David Scott Stone, lotz of random bands, and on my birth day this Sunday I am going to XBXRX for the second time. Geez, I hope none of that sounded pretentious...

Early this summer I found a large note book of past drawings and amateur zines that I made last fall. Some time before I leave here I will scan them and post them on this thing. Oh yeah, sorry about the last zine that I said that I would make. I made two. . . they were expensive to make and I really couldn't toss them around. Soon though, soon tho.

Plus, little old me found a girlfriend, which means me spending a galore of fun time investigating my new favorite person.

I've been wearing more rock a billy clothes/style look recently but mixed with early nineties grunge twee salvation army drab. It works, right?

Future plans do not involve Denmark as planned, which is a bummer, and I don't feel like explaining it because these sort of plans have already happened to me and I have no time to dwell on hot air. However, I will be moving somewhere, so in exchange for Danes I cashed on hoagies. From this September to Jan Jan I will splitting my time between Philly and Baltimore with Philadelphia being my home base. I will return to Lawrence (maybe KC?) in January to finish college leaving me at a five year lazy bone undergraduate fine art degree. oh Hellz Bellz, I don't really want to finish there but it makes my p -runts happy and that makes me happy too.
