Old Habits With A

I'm in Pasadena, California, otherwise known as the City of Roses.

Today I went to the Mount Wilson observatory. Mt. Wilson was built in 1935 as major research facility for Astronomy. Given that the LA skyline is suffering from light pollution, the observatory now acts as a popular museum and communication center.


Tonight I'm going to see Portland's hispanic friendly punk band, Magic Johnson perform at the Smell along with a few local staples.

What a treat it is to be driving around Los Angeles again and I will miss the city's sunny, free ranging atmosphere. I'm surprised to notice just how much I missed this place without even knowing it.

Oh Well.

I'm ready to get back to Kansas City, Missouri, otherwise known as the City of Fountains.
