my first two girlfriends

Jennifer and Kelly

Jennifer sat next to me in math class in fifth grade. Fifth grade was the year to hook up, and since we were both the unpopular of the popular gang, we dated. She smoked cigarettes and listened to bone thugs and harmony. One time we went to the mall and listened to mxpx while looking at clothes. I bought her some 25 cent gum and she taught me how to hold hands 'correctly.' we dated for three days. no kisses. just hugs. She broke up with me because I was not cool. This caused me great pain because I bragged about her to my parents and friends when I found out that we were dating, via folded notes.

I dated Kelly in sixth grade. We didn't exactly date, per say, but we did make out a few times in the halls when class was in session. Well, maybe once. Not a few times. She told me that she smoked cigarettes, although she didn't inhale. We would talk a lot on the phone at night. For hours at a time we would chat, or at least till the portable phone went out of power. Ironically, we would hardly speak when we saw each other at school. Notes and late night phone calls were the way to go. I'm not sure why we broke up, although I think that I broke up with her, or stopped talking to her. it just happened one day. The heartache factor was nill. But as time goes on, I feel a sordid resentment over how we ended. she was very sweet.
