Past two weeks.

Saw Encounters at the End of the World and met Werner Herzog at the New Beverly Cinema
Saw Burn after Reading.
Saw Vampire Weekend, White Williams and Abe Vigoda blast it at the Wiltern. I later spent time with them backstage and one of the members of abe trading information with me and I guess that we are going to be music pen pals?
Mailed some letters.
Saw Health perform again. Did not enjoy it as much as last time.
Saw Ryroc perform. . . Really enjoyed it.
Saw Barr perform with others at the Smell. (It was okay. I'm kinda sick of i pod bands but I liked the lyrics a lot) Supposedly he is starting a little label with my friend Luke and they are interested in releasing my stuff.
Saw Vicky Christina Barcelona and enjoyed it.
Been listening to Coney Island Baby by Lou Reed, the temptations, and the Dixie Cups a lot
Read The Journal Magazine, A Taste of Honey by Shelagh Delaney, The Art of Living by Epictetus, Slaughter house five, and other magazines.
Felt sorry for the people who died on the train accident that happened last Friday.
Changed the oil and cleaned my car.
Found out that the Drummer of the Strokes named his new band after the bar that I used to work/dj at. The Little Joy. Also found out that he came into the bar yesterday with devendra and his girlfriend to get 'official' permission to use the name.
Saw art- The Getty has a new show
Went on a Culver city art walk. Some was good, some not so good. Amanda Ross-Ho's new show at Cherry Martin was a delight.
Went to the Beach again.
Talked to friends.
Painted a house.

Anyway. With all said and done I feel lonely out here because I have been staying at my mother's house which is located out of los angeles county. I have no friends in this area and the house is a time warp black hole so I can't wait to get out of here for a little while.
