Here are some stuff that I have bought or was givin to me recently. I posted some books that I'm reading this week. LA has some good Zine makers out there. Noteworthy is a small booklit made by the Show Pony gallery about the French Situationalist from the 60's. Also, Tiny Creatures, an art gallery near sunset and alvarodo has just published a zine about the up and coming la art and music scene. Specials on the Smell, various bands, and Part Time Punks are included. Hopefully I can contribute something to the next zine with Janet and the crew! Human Ear Records recently had it's birthday party near the the echo and if you were there you could purchase new releases from their wonderful array of lofi dream boat artists. I picked up the comp and the newest cd from the Bubonic Plague--which is on my myspace profile right now.
